After nearly dying from complications of a rare sickness at the age of 21, Nathaniel Pugliese made a pledge to himself. If he survives, he plans to spend the rest of his life “totally giving back to everyone,” he said.
And he has done exactly that very thing.
The Verona native and manager of the Eat’n Park Hospitality Group in Peters has established himself as a top fundraiser for Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and is well-known in the community for his ability to gather funds for charitable organizations.
In 2018, he started walking in the annual “Walk for Children’s” at Children’s Hospital, where patients, families, community members, and sponsors pledge money to “walk a mile in the shoes” of patient champions to raise money for pediatric health care for low-income families. –Source
